Methodology:

At our academy, we believe in a flexible teaching approach that caters to the unique needs of each student. Here’s an overview of our teaching methodology:

  • Personalized exercises: Within 3-4 weeks, we gain a clear understanding of a student’s strengths and weaknesses and provide personalized exercises to help them overcome challenges and improve.
  • Pushing boundaries: We frequently challenge our students to push beyond their comfort zones by offering practical examples and counseling.
  • Simplifying music theory: We simplify music theory and teach its practical application, empowering our students to develop their own musical ideas and approach to learning.
  • Fingerstyle arrangements: For fingerstyle students, we provide guidance on how to arrange their own songs rather than strictly sticking to a piece of paper.
  • Balanced approach: We balance students’ requested material with the fundamentals necessary for their improvement.
  • Importance of melody and rhythm: We teach students the importance of both melody (notes) and rhythm (tempo) as essential elements of music. We emphasize their value and show students how to develop both elements at a manageable pace.
  • We understand that in today’s market, there is a lot of misleading commercial promotion that promises quick results, such as “learn everything quick” or “play 30 songs with 2 chords”. We believe that students who follow such a path may become divergent from learning the fundamentals, which may cause them to struggle and become stuck after a few months. Therefore, we focus on providing our students with a guide to learning and figuring things out on their own in the future, rather than solely relying on shortcuts or quick fixes.
